    The meeting began with a welcome speech by Mr. Yang Guangyu, Chairman of Chunhui Smart Control. Chairman Yang first welcomed and thanked the Honeywell team and all the leaders from the gas industry for their presence. He then emphasized that Chunhui Smart Control attaches great importance to the strategic cooperation with Honeywell and is full of confidence in this collaboration, hoping to achieve a win-win outcome through the joint and active efforts of both parties. Chairman Yang also explained Chunhui Smart Control's strategy for developing smart gas, stressing that Chunhui Smart Control will build on its more than 20 years of experience in the gas industry, with the care and support of a wide range of partners, and take advantage of the opportunity of listing on the Growth Enterprise Market to invest in creating a “leader in smart city gas integrated solutions” that belongs to Chunhui and serves society. Chairman Yang explained that this goal is based on natural gas transmission and distribution and gas pressure regulation and metering as important foundations, with the next-generation intelligent pressure regulating station @MRS, intelligent computing unit DARU, and cloud-native SCADA system DARULiNK as the core, to be gradually promoted and ultimately achieved.

The highly integrated and stable DARU module realizes data collection and uploading functions, and then DARULiNK, which possesses core algorithms, performs data analysis and early warning functions in the cloud.

All leaders and experts agreed that the development of the gas industry is about to reach a bottleneck, and smart gas is one of the main directions for future urban gas development. The country has already selected Haining in Zhejiang and Wuhu in Anhui as pilot cities for “smart gas cities,” which also shows that Chunhui Smart Control's strategy of being “the leader in overall smart city gas solutions” is highly aligned with the national direction for urban gas development. At the same time, leaders and experts pointed out that the development of smart gas should achieve full-process and full-scenario monitoring, analysis, and early warning, should balance urban and rural development, should be highly integrated, should improve transmission and distribution efficiency, should cover from medium and low pressure to high pressure, should establish more cooperation with national research institutions, should meet the government's need to improve people's quality of life, and, above all, should be safe, reliable, intelligent, and controllable.

Although we have entered the capital market through the listing, we are still a small company, and our three product groups—heating technology, energy control, and automotive electromechanical—are all facing numerous challenges in technological innovation, market expansion, and sustained profitability. If Toyota and Volkswagen are soaring eagles on the road of lean improvement, then Chunhui Intelligent Control is still a fledgling bird spreading its wings. As long as it persists on the CPM path, one day it will also gallop under the sky of lean improvement.

    On the second day, the students visited AUO's digital factory in Suzhou Industrial Park, listened to the introduction of AUO's digital transformation journey, and learned about the value of digital transformation in manufacturing enterprises. The application of digital technology has promoted innovation in production efficiency, management efficiency, and organizational efficiency, thus achieving lean factory operations and providing more and better solutions for lean production concepts.

    During the afternoon visit to Honeywell, students experienced the operation of the production line on site, learning how to empower the production line through lean tools and how to consolidate results through culture to achieve disciplined organizational behavior.

The older generation of automotive professionals might not have imagined that today's new energy vehicle manufacturing centers have achieved over 90% automation. The factory adopts highly mechanized automated production, with almost no manual intervention throughout the process, making it a standard modern, automated, and integrated high-tech factory. The students witnessed the crystallization of modern technology, showcasing the direction of future digital factories through efficient automated assembly lines. Chunhui Intelligent Control should also move in this direction, as integrated and automated production methods can effectively reduce costs, lower error rates, and improve product quality, gradually transforming “Made in China” into "Intelligent Manufacturing in China."

    At the beginning of 2020, an unprecedented pandemic swept across China, and under this environment, most industries were experiencing a harsh winter, including Chunhui Intelligent Control. At this time, stabilizing old customers and developing new ones became especially important. Jin Chengjie, a sales representative in the Automotive Control Division, faced the pressure that year, held firmly to his goals, and handed in a satisfactory report card.

    This young man, whose face is often adorned with a smile, has adhered to the company's principles of diligence and sincerity since joining in September 2014, steadfastly advancing on the path of marketing. From market environment analysis to new market prospects; from customer relationship maintenance to new customer development, Jin Chengjie, as an ordinary sales representative, quietly made his own contribution.

    Over the past year, the automotive expansion valve market underwent a major reshuffle. As the leader of the Magnetoelectric Control Division R&D department, Huang has experienced every step of the R&D process for new energy vehicle control solenoid valve products and civil gas solenoid valve coil products. In 2017, the new energy vehicle control solenoid valve he led achieved a major breakthrough and successfully matched with internationally renowned automobile brands. In 2018, the successful development of a series of civil gas solenoid valve coil products such as DQ51, DQ55, and DQ70 further accelerated the Magnetoelectric Control Division's pace toward export. Among them, the new product development with a Fortune Global 500 company achieved sales of over 6 million in 2020, laying a solid foundation for expanding more customers and broader markets in the future.

    Innovation is never limited to the development of new products and new projects. Changing, improving, and enhancing the shortcomings of existing products, processes, and workflows to create new value is also a low-cost, high-efficiency innovation activity. During the waiting intervals of new product development, Huang actively carried out internal technical support activities. The introduction of automatic winding equipment not only saved labor costs of manual winding but also reduced raw material waste during the winding process; the new nylon injection molding technology broke through the limitations of the original BMC injection molding process; the winding machine is the core machine of the Magnetoelectric Division, and Huang led the team to improve the winding device of old winding machines, solving the problem of difficult winding in old equipment, which not only improved the utilization rate of old equipment and saved enameled wire materials, but also improved product performance.

    Since Chunhui Intelligent Control launched CPM lean improvement, the entire company has been enthusiastically carrying out cost reduction and efficiency enhancement activities, contributing their own strength to the CPM of the company. The fifth elite class also responded to the company's call and launched the "Lean Leadership" course, enabling students to understand through learning, gain insight through practice, and achieve mutual growth through teaching.
    On the morning of December 19, the biting cold wind could not dampen the enthusiasm of the students, who entered the training room early to wait. The teacher explained in detail the key points and difficulties of lean improvement through basic knowledge, theory, tools, terminology, and the seven wastes, allowing students to comprehensively and systematically understand the content of lean improvement. Afterwards, a lean leadership self-assessment was conducted, enabling students to compare before and after and understand their learning progress. In the afternoon, adhering to the principle of applying what is learned, a small-scale lean improvement practice was carried out to understand the key points of lean improvement in the production process and fully apply the acquired knowledge to practice. The students practiced earnestly, observed and recorded carefully, achieved same-day questioning and improvement, and produced a comparative PPT report.

    On December 20, with the experience gained from the previous day's improvement, the teacher expanded the scope of improvement and had the students propose a lean improvement plan for the next three months. The students thought hard and actively contributed ideas, creating the improvement plan in an A3 report, covering existing problems, target effects, improvement plans, etc., and will follow up on its implementation.

    The Lean Leadership course enabled students to understand the role of lean improvement and apply it to their work. Under the comprehensive leadership of CPM in the company, students will grow rapidly and eventually become the backbone of the company's CPM.

    Wu Yaodong joined Shangyu City Internal Combustion Engine Parts Co., Ltd. in 2010, and worked diligently as a technician for ten years. During this decade, he transformed from an inexperienced newcomer into an outstanding technical engineer capable of handling tasks independently through continuous learning and growth.

    From the moment he started, he realized that the knowledge learned in school differed from actual work, so he worked hard to study professional knowledge and applied it in practice to improve his technical skills. Initially, it took him a lot of time to understand and digest a single technical point, but now he possesses a wealth of knowledge, all accumulated through ten years of relentless effort.

    In the profile machining workshop, as customers raised their requirements for workpieces, the existing processing methods could no longer meet their precision demands. Customers required products that met standards to be produced in a short time, which seemed impossible at the time. While everyone was troubled about how to improve the process, Wu Yaodong took a different approach. Relying on his understanding of the product, he directly improved from the perspective of product quality, significantly enhancing precision and meeting the required accuracy within the customer's timeframe, earning unanimous praise.

    Learning is like rowing upstream; not to advance is to fall behind. While consolidating his existing knowledge, Wu Yaodong also showed a strong desire for new technologies, and since 2015, he has participated in the development and research of new products. However, developing new products is a long and difficult process. Since the existing products are highly similar, breaking the constraints of established thinking for new products is not easy. Wu Yaodong did not shrink back, participating in and developing the new modular camshaft project. From conception to design, from drawing to prototyping, he continuously made breakthroughs in technical difficulties. Whenever a technical point had issues, he kept testing; whenever requirements were not met, he changed the plan. After five years, he finally achieved successful mass production.

    As a “veteran technician” with ten years of experience, Wu Yaodong humbly states that he still has much to learn. Yet what we see is his presence in new product trials, his involvement in process improvements, and his participation in high-tech enterprise applications. This technician, who has honed his skills for ten years and now shows his brilliance, is contributing his strength to “Centennial Chunhui” under the company's “diligence and integrity” policy!
