On the morning of October 24, 2020, the sun was shining and the autumn breeze was refreshing. The bus carrying the fifth Elite Class of Chunhui Intelligent Control slowly departed from the company, heading to the expansion base at Ningbo Xinsu Yongjiangyuan, where they would participate in a two-day team building activity themed “Forging an Iron Army, Starting Again, Reaching New Heights.” This event aimed to enhance the cohesion and centripetal force among the members of the fifth Elite Class, enabling every trainee to quickly integrate into the team.

During the activity, the “Crazy Primitives” group competition first provided an ice-breaking journey for the trainees. Through the activity, the distance between trainees was directly shortened, making them closer to each other. The trainees were divided into three small teams, each showcasing themed decorations, team names, team songs, and slogans, which gave everyone a strong sense of belonging. In the following activities, they could accurately find their own positions and contribute to their respective teams.

The subsequent group archery competition made the trainees realize the importance of teamwork. Each person is a part of the team and should face challenges with the mindset of sharing both losses and honors, binding themselves closely to the team. The construction of the “Time Tunnel” allowed the trainees to experience the joy and purpose of cooperation. Individuals are originally separate entities, but through cooperation, these individuals are connected to form an indestructible group. Only in this way can they overcome various challenges and crises and achieve success. The outdoor BBQ that evening and the final "Speak Your True Feelings" session allowed the trainees to open their hearts and express their inner thoughts. Everyone shared their opinions, and through discussion, the team's cohesion was further enhanced.

Through the two-day activity, communication and collaboration among the trainees were strengthened, and everyone deeply realized that the power of an individual is limited, while the power of a team is indestructible. The team requires the joint efforts of all. This event effectively implemented the company's new era step-by-step talent development plan to adapt to “new challenges, new journeys, and starting again.”

“Behind the prosperity of a flourishing era, there are people shouldering the burden and moving forward for you.” The finance department has always been working tirelessly and dedicating itself silently behind the scenes for the goal of a century-old Chunhui. Ren Xiaoli is one of the many employees in the Chunhui Zhikong Finance Department.

With her enthusiasm and initiative: she never lets the work assigned by leaders be delayed here; never lets reports that need to be processed be held up here; never lets any mistakes happen here; never lets colleagues who come for business be neglected here; never lets the image of the finance department be affected here.

As the company is going public, if any department is the busiest, it must be the finance department. Stacks of materials pile up like mountains, and piles of invoices are spread out like a sea. Amidst these mountains and seas, Ren Xiaoli keeps a close eye on the documents in her hands, making corresponding calculations on the computer. The clock on the wall ticks away, and the hands already point to eleven o'clock at night. For us, working overtime at eleven at night may seem incredible, but for Ren Xiaoli during the listing period, eleven at night has long become routine. After complicated verification and reconciliation, she finally closes the documents, and her busy day ends at dawn.

During this listing period, not a single document had an error, and not a single reconciliation was missed. This is Ren Xiaoli, who devotes all her focus and energy wholeheartedly.

On August 26, 2020, the Second Wall-mounted Boiler Industry After-sales Service Conference was successfully held at the Taihang State Guesthouse in Shijiazhuang, Hebei. He is the young technical model who quietly holds his post in the technical field—the engineer Sun Miao from the R&D Center of the Automotive Control Division. With the loyalty, responsibility, and focus of a Communist Party member, he practices his values in an ordinary position, working diligently on the front line of expansion valve R&D since joining the company, embodying the company's spirit of “diligence” and “integrity” in the younger generation.

  Sharpening a sword in ten years is a true portrayal of a technician. Since joining in June 2010, Sun Miao has worked diligently in his technical position, continuously overcoming technical challenges and ensuring the consistent quality of automotive expansion valves for ten years. Thanks to his persistence, there have been no major technical issues with the expansion valves, and in product maintenance, he has continuously improved drawings and optimized product structures, resulting in significant performance improvements compared to before.

Due to structural issues with the expansion valve, the high defect rate of superheat has always been a major concern, and the production pass rate has been unsatisfactory, leading to significant waste during production over time. After learning about this issue, Sun Miao began to study the root causes, carefully analyzing the drawings and striving to solve the problem structurally. Hard work pays off; after more than a month of overtime analyzing drawings, conducting experiments, and improving processes, he greatly increased the pass rate of superheat, thereby significantly reducing production waste.

Whenever asked how he managed to persist for so long, he always smiles shyly and says that dealing with drawings every day has made him thoroughly familiar with every aspect of them. Sometimes, a structure that looks normal at first glance always seems off upon reflection, which gives him the drive to correct it—this is probably the charm of technology. While improving existing products, Sun Miao also actively participates in new product development. With the popularization of new energy electric vehicles, the mechanical expansion valve's function can no longer meet the needs of electric vehicles, so he began participating in the development of a new type of expansion valve. Compared to mechanical expansion valves, the new expansion valve is better suited for use in new energy electric vehicles, and it has now been successfully developed and mass-produced. 

While developing new products, Sun Miao also leverages his strengths and focus as a technical engineer to actively assist the workshop, offering multiple reasonable suggestions for lean production and process improvement. “A single flower does not make spring, but a hundred flowers in full bloom bring spring to the garden.” As an "elite model" in the technical team, mentoring new employees is also his unshirkable responsibility. In the words of the new generation of technical engineers he has personally trained: "Engineer Sun is approachable in every way, but when it comes to business, he is a tough professional."     

“A good technical engineer must reassure leaders, earn employees” recognition, and satisfy customers." This is Sun Miao's own definition of a qualified technical engineer, and he works hard for it every day, perseveres for it, and takes pride in it.

In the Jiangnan region during the plum rain season, fine rain drizzles continuously, heavy mist lingers, and the spring rain patters down, tapping on windows and the ground, playing a symphony of spring. At this moment, in the assembly workshop of Chunhui Smart Control Heating Control Division, the atmosphere is bustling with activity, and workers are busy and orderly at their respective posts. The end of the rainy season marks the peak season for wall-hung boiler parts, and the entire division is operating at full capacity to meet the ever-growing product demands of customers.

In a newly designated area of the workshop, more than a dozen people are busy, among them a tall figure is loudly explaining, conducting product assembly training for over a dozen employees. He is Lv Jiang, a technician in the Heating Control Division—a self-challenging engineer who pursues “resetting to zero.”

Lv Jiang joined Chunhui in August 2008, starting his career as a machine operator in the machining workshop. In addition to completing tasks assigned by his mentor, he most enjoyed taking on new challenges. Whenever he encountered unfamiliar products, he would humbly seek advice from senior employees and learn from the team leader. With this eagerness to learn, he combined theoretical knowledge of metal cutting processes with practical experience, mastering the operation of machining equipment and the skills of parts processing technology. After several years of hard work, he quickly became capable of working independently, was promoted to team leader, and proactively helped newcomers adapt to new positions.

In 2012, when there was a need for technical staff, Lv Jiang volunteered and secured the new position, as he enjoyed the challenge of starting from scratch. In his words, this was not about “abandoning” what he knew, but rather “resetting to zero” temporarily—only by clearing out can one absorb more. In the new position, he “reset” himself, quickly mastered 3D drawing software, and used these tools, along with his familiarity with processing technology, to independently design assembly jigs and fixtures, and collaborated with colleagues to redesign test benches. For example, he modified the internal and external leakage test bench from one station to two, integrating the fixture disassembly time into the one-minute external leakage test; the testing efficiency for single workpieces increased by 20%. The semi-automatic safety valve equipment he organized and designed improved efficiency by 36% and the first-pass yield by 14%, among other achievements. As his technical work deepened, his understanding of product performance became more comprehensive. In 2015, the Heating Division positioned engineering plastic water circuits as a brand-new product for comprehensive market development. Building on the original side-insert plastic water circuit and combining it with the front-insert copper water valve product, Lv Jiang designed the front-insert water circuit, which became the best-selling flagship product with the most customers. With this first attempt, subsequent new product designs became much smoother, and he currently has several products under design and development.

In 2017, orders for heating products surged, and how to quickly resolve the bottleneck of insufficient capacity became the top priority for the Heating Control Division. At this time, Lv Jiang, always ready to challenge himself, stepped forward again and volunteered to assist in the assembly workshop to boost capacity. During this period, due to a shortage of personnel, the division brought in temporary labor to help. Lv Jiang was entrusted with the task of assisting the workshop in setting up a production line for sleeve machines staffed by labor workers. From arranging the assembly line, designing the process flow, to assigning personnel tasks, he completed everything meticulously. Hard work always pays off—the line reached a daily output of 2,000 units in a short time. When many difficult tasks were accomplished and everyone gave him a thumbs up, Lv Jiang's hearty laughter echoed throughout the workshop.

“Continuous rain makes one unaware that spring has gone; only when it clears does one realize summer is deep.” The plum rain comes and goes in a hurry, and soon, the scorching heat and bright sun will arrive. A new starting point is calling him—may Lv Jiang go further on this path and climb to even greater heights! May he add a brilliant touch to the blueprint of a century-old Chunhui.
